Are you interested in exhibiting with the Canadian Spine Society at our Annual Scientific Conference?
Exhibiting and Sponsorships
By sponsoring the Canadian Spine Society’s Annual Scientific Conference exhibiting and sponsoring companies must agree to adhere to the:
“The intent of the National Standard for Support of Accredited CPD Activities (the National Standard) is to safeguard the integrity of accredited CPD activities from the influence of sponsoring organizations that could lead to bias.”1
NATIONAL STANDARD – Sponsorship Agreements:
The National Standard on receiving financial and in-kind sponsorship for Accredited / Certified Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Activities states that “The terms, conditions and purposes by which sponsorship is provided must be documented in a written agreement signed by the CPD provider organization or Scientific Planning Committee and the sponsor.” 2
In order to comply with these requirements and for the accreditation of our annual event, all exhibiting companies and sponsors must provide a Sponsorship Agreement letter to the Canadian Spine Society. The agreement must be provided prior to the event start date and must include all specified information. Please contact the CSS office for details and assistance. A template is available upon request.
